Virtual: Patient, Family and Donor Day of the 51th Annual Meeting of the EBMT
One of the main goals is the improvement of communication between blood and marrow transplantation and patients. This is increasingly relevant due to the rapid evolution of technology associated with transplantation and its relationship with the growing field of cellular therapy. The introduction of new drugs and graft manipulation techniques, combined with changes in the clinical pattern of transplantation, particularly in the outpatient setting, has led to remarkable developments in the field over the last few years.
Against this background, the following aspects are adressed at the Patient, Family and Donor Day of the 51th Annual Meeting of The European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT):
- Harmonisation of GVHD care and patient reported Outcomes
- Taboos and unspoken subjects
- Navigating Survivorship: Addressing Long-Term Needs and Challenges
- Patient Voice Matters: PROs to Improve the patient Journey
- Building a Sustainable Future for CAR-T Cell Therapy
Further information and the possibility of registration can be found on the website of the Patient, Family and Donor Day. Program details are given on the program website (Sunday 30th, on the right side).
